Once again Krzysztof, we wish you all the best!
Piotr Dygas started the proper part of his speech by presenting PPK in numbers. On the slide, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the stages of implementing the ECP Act. At first the employee’s perspective was described, which allowed the participants to get acquainted with the structure of Employee Capital Plans, learn about the features, limits, and opportunities related to joining the programs. The current pillars of the available pension systems. Later on, the participants learned about the rules and conditions of adding themselves or employees to ECP, depending on their age. Detailed information on the minimum and maximum payments made by the employer and employee was also provided. An important part of the meeting were the methods of resignation, payment of savings and changing the institution that supports the selected plan. The cases of managing the ECP account for various life situations, such as: change of job, divorce, death of one of the spouses, reaching retirement age, the need for a home loan, or a sudden difficult health situation were also discussed.
At the end of the presentation, the participants asked questions about the profitability of the ECP program for “ordinary” people, the flexibility of the system (is it possible to increase and decrease the declared sum of contributions at any time ?), as well as about capital protection tools.
The meeting was very successful. Everyone was keenly interested in the topic. Piotr Dygas asked for contact if anyone had more questions on the topic. Saying goodbye to the participants and thanking them for the succesful meeting, the vice president of the Alumni Association Krzysztof Pajączek invited everyone for another very interesting meeting, which will take place on July 15 at 1:00 pm.
