“Automation and the development of artificial intelligence cause the inevitable substitutability of humans. It was already anticipated by Christopher Pissaridies, Nobel Prize winner in 2010, several years ago. He pointed out that these changes would lead to large disparities in income and GDP. The pandemic is likely to accelerate these changes. It created a unique opportunity to try out on a massive scale whole bundles of remote technologies in areas such as financial services, trade, gastronomy, medicine, education, office work, entertainment, administration, media. After the pandemic is over, many of these solutions will stay with us permanently, changing the operation of many sectors of the economy and forcing changes in the employment structure and employee qualifications. The demand for system design, engineering and maintenance services will increase. The demand for platform work services, the so-called gig economy. ” – prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak
