It was an extremely interesting, important and emotional meeting. On April 23, 2020, at the invitation of the Association, several dozen people took part in a virtual meeting hosted by two female psychologists cooperating with the International Management Center of the University of Warsaw, Dr Agnieszka Brzozowska and Dr Aleksandra Wąsowska.
The topics that were raised include the answer to the question of how to survive in this difficult period, what the pandemic changes in our lives, what it takes away from us, but also what it teaches us. We got to know the results of the study “Polish Business in a pandemic situation”, conducted by both psychologists together with Prof. Krzysztof Obłój (we cordially greet the professor), which can be boiled down to the statement “business has many sore places, but now everything hurts”.
Very interesting was the topic of the ability to survive in ignorance of the so-called negative ability, and a neuropsychological perspective on human activities in a stressful situation.
During the meeting, there were several book proposals that are a good recommendation for the present time:
Man in Search of Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl
Resilient. How to forge a foundation of peace, strength and happiness. Rick Hanson, Forrest Hanson
